THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) is organising its latest edition of children’s festival, ‘The Great Indian Heritage 2007’ at the Vyloppili Samskriti Bhavan here on July 28 and 20. The festival will feature painting, drawing, quiz and heritage contests. The participants of these competitions will represent their schools. There is spot registration too. The overall best student will receive a free trip to ISKCON world headquarters in Kolkota. Cash awards of Rs.2,500 and Rs.1,000 will be given for second and third places respectively. The winners will be given certificates and prizes on Gokulashtami Festival on September 4 at V.J.T. Hall in Thiruvananthapuram.
