Two new films to hit the screen

Two films, ‘Thee Nagar’ and ‘Veerappu’, will hit the cinemas on Friday. Both the films have an action-packed yet sentimental story line.

‘Thee Nagar’ has actors Karan and Udhayathara playing the lead roles. The film has been directed by Thirumalai, who has worked with director Subash. The story is set in T.Nagar. “I studied at the Nandanam Arts College and this film is based on my experiences there. I have roped in college students. Most of the scenes have been shot in T.Nagar ,” says the director. The crew has shot in almost 20 colleges for this film.

‘Veerappu’ is the second film in which Director Sundar. C plays the hero. The story revolves around a father-son relationship. Sundar plays the son of actor Prakash Raj. Produced by Sujatha Vijayakumar, the film is a remake of the Malayalam film ‘Spadikam’, starring Gopika. “The film has a good blend of love, action and sentiments. I am sure it will be a success,” says Sundar.C.
