Poompuhar exhibition

Bangalore: This is going to be a Tanjore painting exhibition with a difference. Besides the traditional representations from mythology, there will also be some modern paintings and motifs. The exhibition is organised by Poompuhar, the Tamil Nadu Handicrafts Development Corporation outlet. There is a 10 per cent discount on paintings priced between Rs. 2,500 and Rs. 2,25,000. The exhibition will also showcase stone carvings, inlaid panels, bronze and brass lamps and jewellery.

It is on at the Poompuhar outlet on Brigade Road till August 8.
