AIE urged to withdraw hike in fare

Thiruvananthapuram: Leader of the Opposition Oommen Chandy has demanded immediate withdrawal of the hike in airfare announced by Air India Express (AIE) from Kerala to the Gulf countries. In a letter to Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Praful Patel, Mr. Chandy said the decision will adversely affect thousands of Keralites who will return to the State for Onam. — Staff Reporter
