Family counsellors appointed

VELLORE: The Commissioner of Social Defence has appointed Pandian, Kalaivanan and Gifta as voluntary counsellors in the district to counsel persons having family problems, persons having suicidal tendencies, and prevent them from committing suicide. They will counsel family members to prevent domestic violence, especially against women.

Further particulars can be had by contacting the Probationary Officer over 93626 37789, says a release from the District Social Welfare Officer.
