Ranbaxy resolves row with GSK

NEW DELHI: Ranbaxy on Thursday said it had reached an agreement with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) to settle their litigation in the U.S. over Valtrex, an anti-viral. The lawsuit was related to GSK’s U.S. Patent No. 4,957,924, covering Valacyclovir Hydrochloride and its use in the treatment of herpes virus infection.
