Award for Coal India

NEW DELHI: Coal India has been awarded the gold medal by the New Delhi-based Institute of Economic Studies for excellent performance. Three other awards, namely, Bharatiya Shiromani Puraskar, Udyog Ratna Aaward and Excellence Award also went to the executives of the coal company and one of its subsidiaries. The Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Bharat Coking Coal Limited, Dhanbad, A.K. Paul has been awarded Udyog Ratna award and R.K. Sinha, SE (E&M), posted at New Delhi has been awarded Bharatiya Shiromani Puraskar. The Excellence Award has gone to the company BCCL, a subsidiary of Coal India.
