Big win for BFHC

BANGALORE: Bangalore Friends Hockey Club beat Leo Hockey Club 8-2 in the State ‘C’ division league at the hockey stadium here on Thursday.

Monish Kalappa (12th, 20th & 37th) scored a treble and Michael Bakes (36th & 48th) scored a double. Nanda Kumar (25th), Magendran (28th) and Phillip Sanjay (55th) scored one goal each. Bhanu Prakash (16th) and Ranjit Reddy (18th) scored for Leo Hockey Club.

Star Track once again failed to turn up for its fixture against Belgaum District Hockey Association and have been scratched from the tournament. — Special Correspondent
