Nehru tournaments

NEW DELHI: The Nehru hockey tournament society announced that it would hold four of its annual tournaments at the Shivaji Stadium itself in October-November, as the Stadium would be available for the same despite the renovation work in preparation for the Commonwealth Games in 2010. The tournaments were scheduled to be held at Gurgaon, but reverted back to the original venue as the organisers were informed that some adjustments in the renovation work would be made so as to allow the conduct of the national level tournaments at the Shivaji Stadium.
