In “Corrections and Clarifications” (July 27, 2007), and with reference to a story and the use of judicial titles, we erred in saying that it should have been Justice Mr. Singh. The correct usage is Mr. Justice Singh. The caption of the accompanying photograph in a report “Kanimozhi, Raja take oath as RS members” (July 27, 2007) stated that Mr. K. Rahman Khan is the Rajya Sabha Deputy Speaker. He is the Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman. The detail was right in the text.
