Coimbatore: Podhigai channel will telecast an interview of the Avinashilingam Jan Shikshan Sansthan’s Chairman T.K. Shanmuganandam on July 29 at 10.35 p.m. The programme will be re-telecast on August 5 at the same time.

Coimbatore: The Coimbatore District Sports and Games Welfare Association will organise an inter-school band music competition on August 11.

A release from the association said that the competition is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Coimbatore under its youth development programme and will be held at Sree Baldevdass Kikani Vidya Mandir HSS playgrounds. The last date for registration is July 31. For details, contact: 9443059837.
