Coimbatore: The Coimbatore District Sports and Games Welfare Association will organise an inter-school band music competition on August 11. A release from the association said that the competition is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Coimbatore under its youth development programme and will be held at Sree Baldevdass Kikani Vidya Mandir Higher Secondary School playgrounds. The band troops will be tested under the following heads: uniform and general turnout, slow march, VIP salute, quick march with a turning, display, tune or song performed.
