Bidar: World Breastfeeding Week will be observed in Bidar from August 1. Meeting of mothers will be organised in all primary health centres, community health centres and deputy centres. Research has proved that breast feeding ensures children get enough nutrients and their physical and mental faculties are well developed. These points will be highlighted in the meetings, according to a release from District Health Officer Pandurang Pujari. — Staff Correspondent
