Four JNTU students drowned in waterfall

ADILABAD: Four students of JNTU, Hyderabad, were drowned in Kuntala waterfall in Neredigonda mandal, 60 km from Adilabad town, on Saturday, after they reportedly slipped from the edge of the waterfall. The four were identified as Raju, Abhishek, Shashank and Satish. According to reports, 40 students went for a picnic at the waterfall that is experiencing the first flow of the season.

At 5 p.m., the four were reported to have slipped into the pool from a height of 100 feet. Some more time elapsed before the incident was reported by fellow students who came to mandal headquarters village and reported the incident
