Human trafficking: police release pictures of 11 people

NEW DELHI: The Delhi police on Saturday released the pictures of 11 people, including four women, who are suspected to have been illegally trafficked through the alleged racket that came to light with the arrest of the Bharatiya Janata Party MP Babubhai Katara in April, seeking help from the public in identifying them. Mr. Katara is from Gujarat.

“During the course of investigation we came across several travel documents such as passports and visa applications bearing these pictures. Since the addresses given in the documents turned out to be fake, we decided to release the pictures seeking help from the public to establish their identity.”
