Blueline bus runs over man
NEW DELHI: A 25-year-old man sustained serious injuries when he fell under the rear wheels of a Blueline bus while getting off at Azadpur Mandi here on Saturday.
According to the police, Rajiv, a resident of Bawana Industrial Area, was to go to Anand Parbat but boarded the wrong bus plying on route 181 between Jehangirpuri and Nizamuddin. While trying to get off in haste, he slipped and fell under the rear wheels of the bus. His legs were crushed.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital where his condition was stated to be critical.
A case of rash driving and causing hurt has been registered and bus driver Rajesh has been arrested.
