‘Encounter was murder’

Bangalore: Terming the July 10 police encounter in Menasinahadya, Chikmagalur, as “cold-blooded murder,” Kudremukh Rashtriya Udyana Virodhi Okkoota, President Kalkuli Vittala Hegde on Saturday narrated the turn of events to presspersons here.

In the city to speak to senior leaders and government functionaries, Mr. Hegde said there were three witnesses to the episode who were still alive. — Staff Reporter
