Delhi I-T staff plan protest

NEW DELHI: All the Delhi Income-Tax Department employees would wear black badges on Monday and Tuesday as a mark of protest against non-fulfilment of their longstanding demands.

The Joint Council of Action (JCA) of Income Tax Gazetted Officer Association, Income Tax Employees’ Federation of Group-C Circle and the Income Tax Employees’ Federation of Group-D on Sunday declared that the employees would launch an agitation. According to ITEF president Ashok Kanojia, the Central Government and the Central Board of Direct Taxes have not yet implemented the decision of equal distribution of work.
