BIJAPUR: Though the municipal employees responsible for water distribution resumed duty since Saturday, the supply is yet be stabilised. As a result, residents of localities such as Adarsh Nagar and Darga Road resorted to roadblocks on Sunday. However, they cleared roads following the assurance given by the municipal authorities that water supply would be done within few hours. According to sources, all the left out areas could be covered only by Tuesday. The task of clearing piled up garbage was under way, and would be accomplished by Monday, they added. — Staff Correspondent
