Two killed, one injured in accident

NEW DELHI: Two minor boys were killed and another injured after a truck hit their scooter at Badarpur here on Sunday. The truck driver has been arrested.

According to the police, the incident took place around 2-30 p.m. when the truck hit the scooter Lillu, Manish and Kunal were riding. While Kunal, who was driving the scooter, died on the spot, Lillu succumbed to his injuries later. The police said Manish has been admitted to Apollo Hospital and the truck driver, Shabir, has been arrested. A case of causing death due to rash and negligent driving has been registered at the Badarpur police station.
