Rotary invites applications for GSE

Bangalore: The Rotary International (RI) district 3190 has invited applications for its 42nd Group Study Exchange (GSE) programme 2007-08. The programme will be partnered by RI’s district 6330 of Canada/USA and district 1830 of Germany, where selected groups of young Indian businesspersons and professionals from district 3190 — comprising Bangalore, Tumkur, Mandya and Kolar districts of Karnataka and Chitoor district of Andhra Pradesh — will tour America, Canada and Germany. The program is for non-Rotarians in the age group of 25 to 40 and the entire cost of the trip will be borne by the Rotary Foundation and Rotary International.
The selection of the candidates will be done by an expert panel, which will test candidates for their fluency in English, as well as filter them on the basis of their academic records and vocational proficiency.
The applications will be available throughout August and the last date for submission of the applications is September 10. The applications can be obtained from Ramesh Joshi, 105, Swiss Complex, Race Course Road, Bangalore. For details call 9845028212.
