Nithin Ramakrishnan, Kalaprathibha in youth festivals for a few years, who just completed his Plus Two course, has entered the film world. His 18-minute tele-film, Nirangalude Kottaram (Palace of Colours), depicting the exploitation of children, particularly those orphaned, was well received. It was shown on TV channels and film festivals. His second work, Amritha Varshini (fount of elixir), a one-minute mobile-phone film, was one among the 10 in the final list in the Nokia National Mobile Film Award in the film festival organised by Wizcraft International Entertainme nt Private Ltd. in Mumbai. This one-minute creation depicted poignant feelings using only visuals. Another mobile-phone film made by him is Jyothirgamaya, a journey towards knowledge through five elements. It won the third prize in the YMCA competition for mo bile-phone films in Coimbatore recently. Currently, Nithin is engaged in bringing out a full-length feature film, Ganga Theertham.
