Rajan Narayan to be felicitated

PANAJI: Human rights activist Ram Puniyani and Mumbai-based social activist Gerson da Cunha will speak on “communal combat” and “empowering the common citizen”, respectively, to coincide with the felicitation of senior journalist Rajan Narayan on Thursday.

The Rajan Narayan Felicitation Committee has decided to felicitate Mr. Narayan for his significant contribution to journalism and Goan society during his 24-year tenure in Goa. Chief Minister Digambar Kamat would be the chief guest for the function, said its treasurer Arvind Bhatikar on Tuesday.
