To computerise information relating to health care, education, electricity, agriculture, etc. A village in-charge will collect the information and send it for computerisation
JAIPUR: The administration in the Jhalawar district of Rajasthan has decided to formulate an e-village project for each rural settlement to computerise the entire information relating to health care, education, electricity, animal husbandry, drinking water, midday meals and agriculture in the villages. According to Jhalawar Collector Vaibhav Galria, the e-project, to be implemented on the Madhya Pradesh pattern, would facilitate access to the relevant information and current status of various infrastructure facilities and Government schemes at the click of the mouse. Mr. Galria said work on the ambitious project would first be taken up in one village in each panchayat samiti in the district on an experimental basis. A village in-charge will collect the information in a prescribed pro forma and send it to the National Informatics Centre for computerisation. The Collector said the pilot project would be launched in Sangaria village under Pirawa Panchayat Samiti, Kolana under Patan, Gadarwada under Khanpur, Dimli under Bakani and Rojhana under Manoharthana. The in-charge in each village will be appointed by August 7.
