CHENNAI: The National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT), New Delhi, will conduct a National Talent Search Examination for students of Classes VIII and X on November 18, 2007.
Students will be awarded scholarships based on their performance in the State-level written examination (objective type) and the subsequent national-level mental ability test (MAT), scholastic ability test (SAT) and interview. Application forms will be available at the offices of Chief Educational Officers for Class X students and District Elementary Educational Officers for Class VIII students and the Regional Deputy Directors of Government Examinations from August 1, according to a press release issued by the Director of Government Examinations here on Monday.
