IMO service at 46 offices

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Instant Money Order Service (IMO) has been provided at 46 out of the 51 head post offices in the State. The service will be introduced at the remaining head post offices shortly. Underit, any amount from Rs.1,000 to Rs.50,000 can be sent/received from any head post office instantaneously. The payee can take payment at any head post office offering this service by disclosing a secret number, passed on by the remitter, and producing a photo identity card. — Special Correspondent
