Tamper-proof certificates with digital chip

HYDERABAD: History was created on Tuesday when the UoH became the first premier varsity in the country to issue degree certificates embedded with a tamper-proof digital chip.

The 10th convocation of the university attended here by Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram saw the 1,738 students receiving the specially designed certificates. University V-C Seyed E.Hasnain said the university with several firsts to its credit had also created one more record. The digital chip contains the university and students’ details along with a photograph and the digitally-encrypted signature of the Controller of Examinations.
