THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: H.S. Pranoy struck it rich in the Sony Ericsson Thiruvananthapuram district badminton championship which concluded at the Sree Moolam Club here on Tuesday. Pranoy won five titles that included the men’s, under-19 and the under-16 singles titles respectively. He also won the men’s doubles and under-19 titles respectively. Neethu Ninan won a triple as she won the women’s, under-19 singles title and under-19 doubles titles respectively. The results (all finals): Men: H.S. Pranoy bt Anil Kishore 21-11, 21-10; Doubles: V. Arun / Aravind Sankar bt Rakesh Sekhar / Feroz Shah 21-15, 21-17. Boys (under-19): Pranoy bt Anil Kishore 21-10, 21-12; Doubles: Pranoy / Anil Kishore bt R. Deepu / Govind Sivan 21-5, 21-2. Under-16: Pranoy bt Madhav S.Nath 21-11, 21-9; Doubles: Vishu Raj / S.H. Shajin bt Vishnu Rajendran / Nithin Thomas Mat hew 25-21, 21-15. Under-13 (doubles): Adarsh Mahadevan / Bichu bt R.S. Prejin / S. Vishnu 21-12, 21-11.
