NALCO profit put at Rs. 446 cr.

BHUBANESWAR: NALCO achieved a net profit of Rs. 446.66 crores with a sales turnover of Rs. 1,287.12 crores during the first three months of the current financial year. Its net profit for the first quarter of the previous fiscal was Rs. 622.30 crores and the sales turnover was Rs. 1,620.82 crores, according to an official release. The company achieved a higher alumina production of 3,87,800 tonnes compared to 3,58,100 tonnes in the first quarter of previous year.
