Travails of a motorist

To term the traffic congestion at Bakery Junction a nightmare is an understatement. The condition of the road is so bad that traffic crawls past this junction.

During peak traffic hours, the police personnel fight a losing battle against traffic jams. Often their carefully choreographed ‘go’ and ‘stop’ to vehicles are thrown haywire with the arrival of a ‘VIP’ vehicle.An u nwitting motorist stuck at the junction during the arrival of a VIP car is made to get out of the way-to put it mildly-through words and gestures. And then there are those who argue that this is precisely why VIPs never comprehend the daily travails of the average citizen.
