Devadasis seek pension benefits

Bangalore: About 200 members of the Devadasi community met Deputy Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa on Tuesday, seeking monthly pension facilities.

Several Devadasis, Jogammas and Dasayyas from Chitradurga district marched from the city railway station to Mr. Yediyurappa’s house.
