New Delhi: Arinjay Bisht and Kanika Kanwal won the under-10 boys’ and girls’ titles respectively in the third ASN Delhi State inter-school badminton tournament at the Siri Fort Sports Complex, here on Wednesday. In the girls’ under-16 section, Shreya Aggarwal won both her singles and doubles matches to guide Modern School (Barakhamba Road) to a thrilling 2-1 victory over Holy Child School. The results (finals): Boys: U-19: AGDAV (Model Town) bt DAV (Shreshta Vihar) 2-1 (Kamaldeep bt Atul Chouhan 19-21, 21-18, 21-18; Kaustav Das bt Bharat Bajaj 21-9, 21-15). U-16: Airforce Bal Bharati bt ASN 2-0 (Harshvardhan Bisht bt Jayank Ahuja 21-15, 21-16; Bhaskar Chakravarthi bt Ashish Sharma 21-3, 21-9). U-13: Rashtriya Sarvoday Kendriya Vidyalay (Ludlow Castle No.1) bt Sachdeva (Pitampura) 2-1 (Yashnain bt Sanchit 21-5, 21-3; Mohammed Arif lost to Gaurav Deshwal 1 5-21, 13-21; Yashnain/ Arif bt Gaurav/ Apoorva 21-16, 21-6). U-10: Arinjay Bisht bt Arjun 21-4, 21-14. Girls: U-19: SSLT Gujarati bt Mother’s International 2-0 (Shraddha bt Jhankar 21-10, 21-9; Yamini bt Bhumika 21-1, 21-9).
