ANANTAPUR: Poor families led by activists and leaders of the Communist Party of India (CPI) occupied about 20 acres of land belonging to the Andhra Pradesh Housing Board at Guntakal in the district on Wednesday. Led by district secretary of the party M.V. Ramana and party leader D. Jagadish, Ramanjaneyulu, Govindu and other party leaders the poor occupied the land by erecting temporary huts. –Staff Reporter
