Engineer suspended

BANGALORE: The Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Byatarayanapura Joint Commissioner N. Jayaram has placed the jurisdictional Junior Engineer (Civil) Sadashiva under suspension on charges of dereliction of duty.

According to a press release, Mr. Sadashiva had failed to clear heaps of solid waste and debris removed from the drains of the main road in Attur Layout despite several reminders. The action was initiated after residents complained about inconvenience caused by the accumulated silt and debris.
