Candidates from 3001 to last rank to be allowed to select seats Four medical seats to be allotted to eligible sports candidates
BANGALORE: As many as 308 seats in Ayurveda, 100 seats in Homeopathy, 45 seats in Unani and 35 seats in Naturopathy will be offered at the casual vacancy round of Indian Systems of Medicine at the Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell on Thursday. The reserved and all special category candidates from 3001 to last rank will be allowed for selecting the available seats as per the modified schedule. The CET Cell will offer four medical seats to eligible sports candidates who are medal winners (eligible under preference 1 to 4) as per the directions from the government. Interested sports persons who have medical ranks may attend the casual vacancy round sports seat selection on August 7 at noon. One medical seat each in Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences, Raichur Institute of Medical Sciences, Shimoga Institute of Medical Sciences and Sri Shamanur Shivashankarappa Institute of Medical Sciences, Davanagere, will be offered to the eligible candidates, according to an official release.
