Minister on campaign trail
Staff Reporter
KOTHAGUDEM: Minister for Vaidya Vidhana Parishad, Vanama Venkateswar Rao, on Thursday said that the State Government and the Centre were committed to revival of the fortune of the Singareni Collieries Company Limited. Addressing a series of pit meetings in the coal town of Kothagudem, he appealed to coal miners for re-electing the INTUC to the company level representative status.
He said the company could make profits just because of the improved industrial relations scenario. The workers were happy in all the 13 areas of the company.
Dispelling the fears of workers about privatisation, he said more new projects would be opened.
