Sharp rise in RCom first quarter profit

CHENNAI: Reliance Communications (RCom) has reported a sharp rise in its net profit at Rs. 1,221 crore in the first three months ended June 30, 2007, against Rs. 513 crore in the year-ago period. Revenue growth was 32 per cent at Rs. 4,304 crore against Rs. 3,250 crore. Anil Ambani, Chairman, has stated in a release that the operating margin was 42 per cent
