JD (U) mourns for party MP

NEW DELHI: The Janata Party (United) on Thursday paid homage to their Lok Sabha MP from Bikramganj in Bihar and Chairman of National Agriculture Cooperative Marketing Federation (NAFED) Ajit Kumar Singh, who died in a freak accident in Bihar on Wednesday. He was knocked down by a speeding truck while he was talking to a friend standing on the footpath.

Presiding over a condolence meeting JD(U) president Sharad Yadav said Dr. Ajit Kumar actively involved in the cooperative movement since his college days.. “At a time when there is need to strengthen the cooperative movement, his passing away is a great loss to the country.”
