MUMBAI: After the completion of the 1993 serial blasts case trial, the designated TADA court on Thursday formally discharged two approvers who provided several clues aiding the investigating team.
Special judge P.D. Kode discharged the two who had been on bail during the course of the trial after they received pardon.
“Face risk”
Special Public Prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam told the court that certain media publications had revealed the identity of the approvers. He said the two they had provided vital information and might be targeted by gangsters.
The court then directed the media not to reveal their names or any details about their identity.
