VIJAYAWADA: The print and electronic media in the country are delivering what people are expecting from them, according to All India Station Director Mangalagiri Aditya Prasad. “Still, individuals and organisations who have any objection to media reports can draw the attention of the Press Council of India, a statutory and quasi-judicial body acting as media watchdog,” he said on Friday at a seminar on the ‘Role of the Media in Establishing a Value-based Society’ organised by the media wing of the Rajayoga Education and Research Foundation (RERF) of the Brahma Kumaris. He felt that the media was merely replicating the views of the society and catering to the needs of people of all ages by providing news and entertainment.
