Jaipur: Eight persons with criminal backgrounds, who were planning to abduct a girl from Jaipur, were arrested on Friday at Shivdaspura, 40 km from here, and some weapons were seized from them, police said. Police intercepted a jeep in which the criminals were travelling and arrested them at Shivdaspura, they said. One pistol and some sharp edged weapons were recovered from them.
