Revision in retirement age sought

BHUBANESWAR: Two State government employees’ associations on Friday held separate demonstrations near the Secretariat, seeking increase in retirement age to 60 and revision of salaries.

Members of the Orissa Karmachari Sangram Samiti (OKSS) and the Orissa Sachibalaya Karmachari Mahasangh (OSKM) resorted to high-pitched sloganeering in support of their demands.

The OKSS leaders demanded that the age for retirement from services be increased from 58 to 60.
