Red Cross plea for donations

HYDERABAD: The State branch of Indian Red Cross Society has appealed to people to offer donations to its organisations in connection with its fund raising day on August 12. In a press release, the society called for donations either in cash or through DDs/cheques in favour of ‘Indian Red Cross Society, AP State branch’. Exempt from income-tax, the donations are to be utilised to help victims of man-made disasters.
