RTC Volvo service to Bangalore

Karimnagar-Tirupati service too on the anvil

KARIMNAGAR: The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation, Karimnagar region is planning to introduce Garuda (Volvo) bus service from Karimnagar to Bangalore city during this month. Besides, the RTC is also planning to introduce a bus service between Karimnagar and Tirupati temple town.

Disclosing this to newsmen after participating in the platinum jubilee celebrations of RTC here on Friday, RTC zonal chairman S Jaganmohan Rao said that the corporation sanctioned the bus service between Karimnagar and Bangalore city and they were awaiting parking clearance from Bangalore authorities to start the bus service for the benefit of Karimnagar district people. He also said that the bus service between Karimnagar and Tirupathi would be launched very soon.

Super luxury buses

In order to increase frequency of bus service between Karimnagar and Secunderabad (Jubilee bus station), RTC was planning to introduce non-stop super luxury bus service following public demand.

He said that the non-stop bus would reach JBS within three hours from Karimnagar. Besides, the commuters could also avail advance booking of seats in the super luxury non-stop bus service from any part of Hyderabad reservation counters. The adding of super luxury bus service between Karimnagar and Secunderabad would increase the frequency of a bus to Hyderabad for every 15 minutes.

RTC had also decided to launch a bus service from Bheerpur to Hyderabad city via Karimnagar town. Another bus would be introduced between Raikal and Mumbai city.

He also said that they would launch a bus service from Jammikunta to Kaleshwaram temple town very soon.

The RTC chairman said that they were contemplating to introduce mini-bus services on the lines of Setwin services in Karimnagar town for the benefit of local commuters.
