Special trains for Aadi Krithigai

CHENNAI: The Southern Railway will operate a passenger special in the Renigunta – Tiruttani section and three Electrical Multiple Unit (EMU) specials on Arakkonam – Tiruttani – Renigunta section in view of the Aadi Krithigai festival.

The special services will be operated from Monday to Wednesday.

An official release said the passenger special will leave Renigunta at 11.30 a.m. and arrive at Tiruttani at 1 p.m. It will stop at all stations.

In the return direction, the train will leave Tiruttani at 2.15 p.m. and arrive at Renigunta at 3.45 p.m.

The first EMU special will leave Arakkonam at 10.30 a.m. and reach Tiruttani at 10.50 a.m.

In the return direction, the special will leave Tiruttani at 11 a.m. and reach Arakkonam at 11.20 a.m.

The second special will depart from Arakkonam at 12.15 p.m. and reach Tiruttani at 12.35 p.m.

In the return direction, the special will leave Tiruttani at 12.45 p.m. and reach Arakkonam at 1.05 p.m.

The third Electrical Multiple Unit special will leave Arakkonam at 2.50 p.m. and reach Tiruttani at 3.05 p.m.

In the return direction, the train will leave Tiruttani at 3.30 p.m. and reach Arakkonam at 3.45 p.m., the release said.
