Coimbatore: The South India Textile Research Association will organise here a workshop and exhibition on “Application of Information Technology in Textile Industry” on August 7. A release from the association said the event would be inaugurated by T.K. Sarkar, senior director of the Department of Information Technology. The workshop would feature presentations by experts from the IT industry and the theme would be “Application of Information Technology in Textile Industry, IT related services and their importance.” Exhibition
Leading industry associations and IT companies would participate in the event. The exhibition would be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
