China curbs

Beijing: Hundreds of Indians studying medicine in China will be affected by the Government’s recent revamp of its medical education sector, limiting to 30 the number of colleges which can offer courses in English to foreigners.

Concerned by complaints, China’s Ministry of Education (MoE) this week promised to improve the standard of its degree courses.—PTI
