Man arrested for killing friend

NEW DELHI: A young man has been arrested on the charge of killing his friend at Kalyanpuri here. The accused had allegedly committed the murder because the victim had passed lewd comments on his wife.

The body of 35-year-old Inderpal, bearing several stab injuries on the neck and face, was found on July 17 morning. The police found bloodstained broken pieces of a bottle from the scene of crime, indicating that he was attacked with a bottle.

Acting on a tip-off that the man who murdered Inderpal had been hiding in Timarpur, the police raided the place and arrested him.
