ALAPPUZHA: The Central team deputed by the Union Government to assess the damage caused by the recent floods in the State arrived here on Saturday. The team in Alappuzha, led by Krishna Kumar, Director, Ministry of Urban Development, visited areas in the Kuttanad, Ambalapuzha and Karthikapally taluks before holding an assessment meeting with Cooperation Minister G.
