Girl dies in wall collapse

ERODE: A 13-year-old girl died and her brother sustained injuries when a wall collapsed on them at Karukkampalayam on Friday. Saranya and her brother Dineshkumar (16) of Pappireddipatty, Dharmapuri, went to their grandfather’ s, Krishnasamy’s house at Karukkampalayam to celebrate the Aadi festival. They were sitting inside the house when a side wall collapsed, trapping them under the debris.

While Saranya died on the way to the Government Headquarters Hospital, Erode, Dinesh is undergoing treatment.
